Daniela Guzmán (Baja California, 1993) studied textile design at the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla, since then she has devoted herself to textile art under the pseudonym La crisalida humana (The human chrysalid). Her work takes life from several cardinal themes: the past, loneliness, self-identity and women, through old and abandoned photographs. She is considered one of the best 150 young Mexican creatives and one of the 12 best embroidery artists in Mexico according to Domestika.
